I'll be camping with my kids at Kiptopeake State Park near Cape Charles, Virginia.  The park has a nice beach but no place for crabs to hide(i.e. inlet or cove).

Two Questions:

1-Does anyone know of a good place to set a crab pot and go chicken necking from shore in the lower part of the Virginia Eastern Shore?

2- Looking at a map, the Ocean side of the pinensula looks like a great place to crab.  Are crabs as plentiful(or should I say scarce) on the Ocean side as on the Bay side?
