RD, Doc ---I know yall are from there- how is the crabbing going in Florida, SS? Reason I ask is b/c two crabbers I know said that there packing up for the season and shutting SS tanks down for winter. I dont understand; it sounds like from other post yall don't shut down.---------Jeff

I have been shut down for the most part Jeff,my ss season ended a little early this yr the 1st of Oct., i may have 25 or 30 peelers out there right now

What do you do during the winter? I guess take a break. Do you go out and crab at all even once a month?

it's been slow,been going crabbing 2 or 3 days a week and sea bass fishing with pots 2 days a week,working on pots and boats the rest of the time and playing on the computer,it should pick up for us soon as far as crab sales go
