Are these meeting for 07 regs or for 08. I was just wondering because I went ad got my rec crab license today and the book thet I got with it says you can have 1200 ft trot and up to 30 traps. like last year.

Look at the fine print on page 1 of your handbook, left hand side.

"This publication is intended as a guide only. For official law see Maryland code."

They can change the regs by adding an addendum..They did it last year when they increased the size of the trophy Rock season. Its been pretty quiet about the crab regs in recent months..So it might be a good sign. The Rockfish quota has been keeping them busy

I'm sorry I was not able to attend Monday's meeting.  Something came up with one of the boys and I was too exhausted.

Public Meeting Notice

There will be a meeting of the Tidal Fisheries Advisory Committee at 6 PM on Monday, February 12th, from 6-7 PM in the C-1 Conference room of the Tawes State Office Building. An agenda will be posted later this week at:

At 7 PM, there will be a joint meeting of the Sport Fish Advisory Commission, Tidal Fisheries Advisory Commission and the Striped Bass Ad Hoc Committee to discuss Maryland's Spring, Migrant Striped Bass fishery options. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
