Yea just cruise down the Wye around 4:30 - 5:00 am when start time is 5:30 and I bet you'll catch several people crabbing, or at least there traps in the water and them saying I'm waiting for start time..  .. Both my brother - in - law's and my sister would love that Seawed, I wouldn't have to be waking them up at 3:30 am anymore, they would be able to sleep at least another half hour.. 1 FOG horn blast for Comm's start time,,, 2 FOG horn blast for the rec's.. i agree with ya mike about start times, however ive seen the commercials running thier line at 4 in the morning too, big old spot light an all |

Question?  ? Were the Commercials Setting their lines or actually harvesting crabs @ that time?? Commercials are allowed to set trotlines before legal start time to harvest crabs... |

This may be a stupid question but if the regs are changed, when will we know for sure? I know there is a Maryland DNR page with rules and regs for crabbing, but when do the new changes, if any come out in print? Thanks....
