i have an italian market up by my moms that had conch in a can , it is rather costly though i guess it is in some sort of juice it says it is 1lb of conch meat. probably much better fresh just like octopus and squid.

I am up in in Maine and I don't see to many people fish gear exclusively for conch (whelks) up here are they can be kept as a bye catch of lobstering. I was wondering if anyone might be able to give me an idea how to make pots like the round plastic ones. It almost looks like some one used a plastic barrel or something like that. I can't seem to find anything online about make them. I have attached a picture. Thank you
