theres always big crabs around but in the early spring we pack 5 1/2 in crabs for1s 5" crabs for 2s and yes i pack shes in the spring but mostly male crabs  Huh

So at least you experienced the good times and can understand why I am so disappointed. And I agree with you guys the environment is a big piece of the problem that needs to get fixed in a hurry. What are your thoughts on increasing the size limits. The vacationing REC's do a killing on them 4 1/2 inch crabs around the Tom's River area. And what about a 6" size for females. It would be painful for you the first year but don't you think it would be better for you and everyone else in the long run. Anyway Good Luck out there I hope you do well and the season improves..

Got my first peelers yesterday.  Looks like first slough will be with the new moon.  Saturday night.

Gettn 1 or 2 crabs per pot.   Sooks started showing up yesterday.
