Nice start Crabguy, that will get our mouths watering. You certainly got a real good early spot. Are you posting that short 9"?

You said a little under 9" Crabguy, thought it was easier saying short than speculating the size. 8 7/8, , 8 15/16, 8 31/32, etc. By no means was I insinuating it was small, plus this is the start of a new year and I was wondering whether you were going to start the 1st entry, that is a nice crab for the start.

pots are full of 12-15inch rockfish.  never seen it like this before.  35 rock in ten pots.  dont see how the crabs are gona have a chance

one crab 2day, that pot had 10 rock in it.  i think they were trying to get at the poor crab.  probably would have been more fish but they couldnt get in!

Anyone out of Poquoson/Hampton/Norfolk?  I'm not commercial and would just like to get out there with my small trap and score some blue crabs.  Reports anyone?  Thanks in advance.
