No pics, sorry.

I'm on vacation, staying at my in-law's vacation house, and having a blast. With just four pots in the water, I pulled out 55 blues over 3 days. Not good compared to some of you guys. But, hey, I have some obstacles to overcome. I have to wade from the pier (on Sea Isle) out far enough to keep some of the locals from checking my traps for me (found out the hard way). I've only been doing this about twice per year for a few years, but I am definitely hooked. There is a 6 pot limit for recreational crabbers in TX. And, my wife is more of a "you catch them, I'll eat them" kind of crabber. Talk about obstacles....

Oh, and Hi! This is a great board with a wealth of information.

 Cool

enjoy,

I did talk w/ one of the yahoos who checked them for me.

I told him of a sign that I wanted to hang on the traps.

"Sniper. If I can see it, I can kill it. I can see these traps from the house."

He got my point.

That was also my first attempt at crabbing. Since then, I've gone wading.
