I like feeding the worms the best and the crabs like the worms the best also.......  The problem is that going to the worm bin and digging out the worms tends to be messy and take time. The problem with the chicken and beef is that it fouls the water... But I am learning to trim off the fat and gristle and just add little pieces at a time.....   In fact today I noticed that basket will often try to keep a fresh piece of raw meat in one claw and parade in circles around Loretta, as if to say "I am a good provider, just stick with me Honey and life will be great."
    Loretta is a triangle "V" and because the bottom coloration is mottled, I think she might molt within several weeks.....  She is still basically in shock about being captive whereas Basket is used to it.

They may not like though May need to turn out light when that time of the month comes for them. Hopefully your cam has good low light resolution

The "honeymoon behavior" has now given way to daily humdrum type behavior. Basket is still polite toward her but he doesn't display the constant pressure to mate.... As far as how they react to humans: when someone walks by the tank he always stands on his back legs and extends his claws out of the water to beg for food but Loretta never does this.  She is still quite wild and not tame like Basket Case.......  When I have to get my hand in the water to clean the aquarium, she will panic and zoom around trying to escape but Basket just relaxes and accepts it.
