Long Island Crabs are Tasty Crabs

Normally the season on LI doesnt get started until June, but the recent temperatures have driven the water temp up much faster this year(just hit 55 on the south shore). Does this mean the season could potentially start sooner? Like mid may?

Maybe,......The South shore warms up quick, I hear they are starting to get some crabs out there already.... why you ask??? you now going to start catching the seafood too?? Do you Need Traps?? because I'm in NY and have some you can have or does your boss got you covered,
