...can crabs be kept in a cooler of ice?  I know not to put them directly on the ice, but I'm going to be making a long trip on Sunday (to NC  Grin) and I need to be able to keep them alive.  Or could I just put them in ice water...will that keep them edible?...or will it still cause them to spoil...b/c I know that putting them in the water will kill them.  Huh

I know...but that's way too much for what I'm doing.  You're practically going on a high adventure safari for your crabs!!  Grin
