The "true" snooded trot line, with bungee and all, was a bit too much for me.  I decided to use a bit of my creativity and develop a modified snood line.  Instead of bungee chord (which I couldn't find enough of), I used the 1/4" black "crab line" I bought from Bass Pro Shops.  I also used the same line for the main trotline.  I attached the snood line using a "bowline" knot, then made the loop (to hold the bait) by making a "two half hitchs" knot.  I then had to go back and, with a lighter, fuse the ends of all the frayed snoods.  IT TOOK FOREVER!!!!!!!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked  As I constructed the line, I put it (neatly) into a five gallon bucket.  After a few epochs had passed, it was complete!  Grin Grin  As I got up, I knocked the bucket over, and half the line came out in a jumbled mess.....AAAAAEEEEEEE!!!!!   Shocked Angry Shocked Angry   (edited for readers sake...)   Anyway, because the line was of a large enough diameter, it easily came undone...thank GOD!  Grin  I'm going out July 5th, not sure where...maybe the Wye?  Let's hope.  If it is a success, I'll put some pictures up.   Grin Grin Wink
