Wow, I went to sleep last night just knowing I would have tons of secret places to investigatge, but alas, nothing but a misplaced tater farmer.  In the 70"s and 80's I crabbed all NJ from Keyport to Cape May but I hear so much has changed.  I am looking forward to coming out there but I am afraid I won't be able to find any good spots in the Cape May Wildwood area.  I did most of my crabbing there in Keyport because UP THE CREEK bar was close by.  Help me please I would hate to continue life eating these dungeness crabs.

Welcome aboard Legion101, how long has it been? If it's awhile I would take the extra time and go to MD. It sounds like your going back. Sad Get some real crabs to fill your belly. Wink The Jersey crabs aren't as big as they once were, a long time ago. Huh

Crabbing, enjoying the water, meeting new people, making new friends, that's what it's all about.

If you are comming all the way from taderville you are gonna be dissapointed with 5 1/2" Jersey crabs. If you get lucky you'll pull in a 6"er once in a while. I go near AC and you have a fun day but you better check each one with a ruler. A whole day will get you a lot of crabs  but they are not 1/2 the size and weight of Md. crabs. Hope you enjoy your time east and crab all you can. never heard of crabbing in tader country. good luck, don
