Turtles, and more turtles Angry Caught 7 crabs all 6"+ and 1 sook. Spent 4 hrs down there, maybe too early, went time before and caught limit midday. Also maybe the upcoming full moon has something to do with it. Water level was really low, but slightly tainted( weird as we had no rain). On a good note it was beautiful, just some light passing hazy clouds 88 degrees, very few bugs. We had a picnic down there with some subs and other goodies. Will be going Fathers Day weekend I  think Sat. I know they will be there along with several other groups of people. Sad The secret spots are no longer secrets Angry

Joe, it would have been much much better if we had caught our limit. Trust me!!! With my hip pain and trying now to dip when the family lets me, I was hoping for more. Don't let this one little sour trip discourge your future plans of comin down. The crabs are there, I think the turtles beat us this time along with the moon. Will make another run in two weeks. I think June 15th is annual crab attack day, be prepared!!!!  Grin Grin Grin Grin But seriously the 15th sounds right. It will be enough time after the shed for them to harden back up to go on the feeding frenzy and they will be more interested in food instead of da womenzzzz crabzzz. (you know what I  mean they do) Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

It's early here, too.  I went out yesterday for the first time..nothing!  Not even one.  Crabberjon went out today and he also caught nothing.  But it sure felt good to get out there!  It was so hot yesterday and must have been 20 degrees lower temp on the water!
