Going to Hilton Head over the 4th of July, and wanted to get ideas on where to crab off docks, bridges, etc.  Have gone many times to a place off Burkes Beach Rd with little (less than 5") success, and any new ideas would be welcomed.

Hilton Head is across the river from Savannah and is suffering from the drought as we are here in coastal Georgia. I would suggest talking to the tackle and bait shops folks on the island. Look people crabbing around bridges on the causeway to Hilton Head. You can use a dip net and use a chicken neck tied to a string and wade in water at the beach and catch crabs that way. Cool
