WOW, you guys!!! Man this had to be the best day. The first spot was slow, well sorta. (I guess the wind the last two days from north did'nt help) But, when need a break and moved. The crabs at this spot were crawling out onto the bank!!! Shocked HONESTLY YOU COULD SCOOP THEM FROM THE SHORE. We tossed the lines in........WHAM two at a time, had all 6 lines with crabs too. Set a trap, caught one but was busy with the lines. We had my two sons and my youngest sons girl with us. This make the second time she has gone and loves to dip, she got a work out today for sure.  Wink My wife got red, as did the crabs when we got home. Over all the averaged 6" with some big guys in there around 8" missed 1 big crab that was to big for the net Angry (missed him twice) and yes we had plenty of throw backs, mostly v-bellies BTW WE KEEP THE FEMALES, JUST THE BIG FAT GIRLS. Shocked Roll Eyes Going again real soon, maybe next weekend. TOTAL COUNT 56 (a full bushel). I have sent pics of the aftermath, as like a dumbass I left the cam at home.(really couldn't take pics as busy as it got).  THE MATTAMUSKEET MUMBO'S ARE HERE !!!!   Grin Cool Cool Cool

Hfly, nice catch and report.  Just curious, in the one photo, looks like the cooler is full of water, don't the crabs die almost immediately in there?

Actually when we catch the crabs we leave them in a bucket with a wet Toe sack on them then put them in a cooler with a ice bag for the ride home. >>>>>>>  Now when I get home I  open the bag of ice, add water and more ice if needed and let them chill for about 15 minutes. Makes them chill out for easy handling (even though I wear culling gloves) plus the ice bath chills them so I don't have as many claws and legs blow off from cooking. I still do the ice bath method as I am not as courageous enough to do the electric shock method. YET Shocked
