Hello everyone,

I am new to this site.  Started crabbing 2 years ago but have had luck sometimes and have been skunked other times.  I know that is part of fishing and crabbing, but I have been to the coast different times of the year. (May/July/November). Last year I went second week of november and was crabbing off a dock in the Bougue Sound.  All I caught was shrimp in all my crab traps.    Do the crabs move to other locations?  Only make it down to the coast two times a year and am planning my last trip of the year in mid-August. I will be in the Atlantic Beach area and was hoping to get some pointers on where crabs hang out this time of year.  Shallows, back creeks, or ocean near piers.  Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
