i see them ( toadfish or monk fish ) at asian markets. They say the tail is pretty good to eat...but im not gonna try it. maybe ill get MIKEY to try it! ( life cereal commercial )

toadfish is Opsanus tau.
Monkfish are Lophius americanus.

They are not the same fish. Smiley

sounds like you are the ichthyologist.

i am doing research in comparative immunology (comparing fish to mammals/humans).  my BS was in ichthyology/biology.  however, i think i learned more from commercial watermen than from scientists.
