I'm up for it as well and hold both NJ and DE licenses.    Hopefully there is a big dotted line on the water delineating the borders.     laugh
Here's one of the strangest borders you'll ever see...

I love the way part of NJ's landmass is considered DE.    Wink

Just a heads up, went out on the Delaware today with the kids to do a little fishing for some catfish and my wife pulled a crab up on her line using shrimp.  We were right in front of Boeing about 500 yards out in about 8 feet of water.

Rob,  I thought you were to busy to go fishing.  Must have been your wife's idea.

Ronnie

You got that right.  I want to go crabbing!  Fishing is easier because it's 10 minutes away vs 1-2 hrs drive for crabs.

Anyone tried the river lately?  I might take a couple traps out this week and see what's going on.

June 25th my wife caught one on her fishing line right near Boeing by the island in about 10 ft of water.  We were using raw shrimp from Pathmark.  Haven't been back since.  Tons of catfish out there.

It is time again!!!  There are HUGE blue crabs in the delaware river.  They are just getting north of the PA/DE line.  I was out fishing in my new boat this evening and pulled up several crabs between catfish.  These crabs were bigger than any I have caught in the Elk or Bo so far this summer.

Guys,  Has anyone ever taken notice to how many commercial pots there are in the river ?  The crabs are there every year the salt line moves above the DMB.   smartass2  Usually late July and August sometimes until Sept.

The pots are almost to the commodore barry bridge now.  When are we going to have the Delaware River Crabbing Tournament?
