A few years ago I drove from ocean city towards delaware. There was a ferry and nearby a rather nice sized pier. What ferry was this and does anyone know what pier i'm talking about. there was a small bait shop at the end of the pier. I remember that the pier was large enough that the local police drove out to the end. If i remember correctly you could pay a few bucks to fish and didn't need a deleware license to fish after paying the fee?

you dont have to pay to fish at the pier, but you do have to pay to get into the sate park. the pier is 1/2 closed right now tho, the sate is supposed to be "fixing" it, but the invisible workers are taking thier time... btw you dont need a license this year, but next year you will

I love the Cape Henlopen pier...I was  unaware of any fixins' that were going on, though.   You can also surf fish there, but you need a permit.  You can also go clamming there.
