Hi everyone!
I've been browsing through this website and have found it very informative and interesting.  You all seem like very nice and cordial people!  I can't wait to be a more avid crabber.
Anyways, I am new at crabbing so I have a few questions if no one minds.  First of all, I live in Ellicott City (near Baltimore), but I am willing to travel 2-3 hrs away.
1) Where can I go crabbing with some string, some chicken and a net?  I want to take a few friends for a day trip and we have no access to a boat.
2) What time should I go?
3)Is there anything else i should know?  Any advice would be appreciated.

I remember going once before, so I slightly remember the procedure of crabbing.
Something like:
tie crab to line, drink beer, throw line, drink beer, feel line tighten, drink beer, pull in line, drink beer, grab net, finish beer, fall in water, and fianlly scream out the most curse words one can rattle off in 10 seconds.  Is this right?

Thanks,
THD
