I use to have a place at DuckNeck campground. the water up at hhe campground usually wasn't salty enough. so I would have to go down river around Chestertown or below.

Tatoo,
How far down is Rolphs from the campground by boat?See I am pulling my camper so my boat will be in back of the pickup. With me having my back operated in early July and staying at campground all weekend.I hope to find someone help me  get her in at campground and travel down if need be.If I put in at Rolphs can I safey leave boat there when not using it? I am not to wild about that. And I shouldn't try to unload her every morning down there myself. The boy is just a bit to small yet.
Thanks

IT's Took me about 20 to 25 Min. I was running a 19 ft. with a 115 hp. It is on the other side of the bridge, going down river.  I crab about a mile past Rophs. at southeast creek. good luck. hope you catch a lot of crabs. Let me know how you did.

crabsrlicious , i don't know your exact location, but I live near the Delaware border.  Take rt 213 toward chestertown.  Cross over the chester town bridge into Queen Anns county.  In a few miles, you will reach Ralphs wharf road on the right.  Follow it to the marina.

Cheesy Thank you crabincrazy.....for some reason, I remember turning off somewhere like rt 544, does that sound familiar or maybe we went into duck neck where my friend had his trailer on the camp ground.  In any case, I thank you, I'm from the Bear area in DE...are you close to me??  Thanks again!

Crabbed the chester about 2 miles from the Bay both Sat and Sun. Picked up a bushell Sat morn in a few hours. Sunday was only half, but didnt crab as long it was a little slower. I keep losing traps. I'm down to 12 so instead of buying more, I'm switching to a line hopefully starting this wekend if I can get everything together by then. If there is room, I'll be using both at the same time.
Overall, crabbing has been pretty good down Rock Hall way. I see most trot liners bringing in at least 2 bushell every morning. Not as big as they were in early July, but more plentiful. Still some big ones though.
