People get together all the time on here to go crabbing. Tattoo just went with a GIRL (gasp)!
I'd offer to go with him too if I didn't believe he was just some robot that would constantly say "Great pull!", "Great job baiting that trap", etc after every thing.
Hahaha... oh so true.
And yeah, c'mon... crabbing is a very platonic thing... but then again... off on a boat... in the middle of Jersey...

I think you peeing in a container might ruin the mood, tho.

Peeing in a container. I just discussed it one post ago. We're still on topic. But now it's more about if I'm gonna be in the boat while she's peeing in a container.

Hey now - 6 beers in and you won't even know what's going on. Psh! But if you're going to be so picky I'll just have to find someone else to fill your shoes!

Six is a nice amount. It's enough for me to take my clothes off to slip n slide (one of our great party past times), but it's not especially drunk. I could prolly still handle a crab without it mauling me at that point.
I could bring the pee pot for you, but you would need really good aim.

I'm a guy but I still don't like peeing over a boat bc I am afraid the jellyfish will sting and the fish will think it is the biggest worm they have ever seen

A pee pot? I don't even want to know!
Drunk slip and sliding or should I say slip and
sloshing
? sounds like a good time indeed.
Why are you in Florida now?
And as for you JD - don't worry - they've seen bigger.

It's just a container to pee in, then dump it over-board. It's easier for guys to use, since we have that appendage that works like a hose.
I go to college in Daytona. (

) I'll be home in about a month for a couple weeks.

Well I hope it's big enough to measure a legal crab in NJ.
Move to Florida, there is no recreational size limit!

Aww... well, size only matters when it comes to crabs.
Although GKrangers doesn't believe that. Psh... Floridians.

Haha... well, yeah, pretty much. This summer has been kinda shabby and I'm really getting sick of pulling up traps with nothing in them or with babies in them. Or even worse... horseshoe crabs.
Hicksville really isn't where I live anymore - technically. Although I do still spend all my time there. I guess my real current location is on the south shore a little further south and west...so a little bit closer to the Navesink - and I have been spending plenty of time with family in Brooklyn, right across from the Verrazano...so definitely not tooooo far away from that river.
Anyways...sitting in Belt/Verrazano/Staten Island traffic will so be worth it if I bring home a bushel of crabs. I'm really just looking forward to sitting down after a long day on the river with a mallet, some newspaper, and plenty of crabs (and beer) and cracking away.
It's really all I've been thinking about since I decided that I would make the trip. Really, I have even been dreaming of it. Now that's what I call devotion.

You haven't even met me! I could really be some 50 year old man fronting as a young woman on this site just to pick up a fine young man like yourself. You shouldn't be so hasty!
However...do you own a boat? Waterfront property? Capable of catching crabs whenever I crave them?
We'll see.

Yeah I was betting on the 50 year old man theory. Maybe you are tattoo's alter-ego? I mean, come on, pretty 21 year old girl who loves crabbing? I've got a bridge in Brooklyn I could sell you...
But.
Yes..have a boat, no, no water front property yet (give me 50 years to earn the money it's going to take to purchase something near the Navesink), and I can catch crabs from June till November. You'll just have to suffer when the river is frozen!
I'm going to bed, I have a long day of doing nothing ahead of me tomorrow. Sleeping is precious when you have 8AM summer classes.

Hey Heather!
First, I might see you out there next Sunday!
Second, I had my friend just hop off the boat last time only she had some trouble getting back into the boat which was pretty funny too watch. To make it easy, I would just bring a milk jug or something with you (that's what we do at our tailgates
) And hey if you're ever up by Villanova, Bmail me I don't live too far from there and we can check out some bars.
Good luck with your "dilemma"
