Hey everyone,

Has anyone been crabbing down in Wildwood recently? I went about a month ago and caught 2 doz but I was just wonderin if anyone has been there lately. Im heading out next Tuesday with my dad (it's a full moon so hopefully we'll catch some heavy crabs) Oh, one more question, in case we don't catch any, where is a good place to buy them in Wildwood. I know of a place off 47 by Wawa but it's pretty far from where we're stayin. Thanks in advance!  Grin

I haven't been down there since the week of the 4th so I don't know how the crabs have been but as far as buyin them there's a place in north wildwood called ricks seafood.  They have crabs and some other quality seafood too.  i don't know what kind of prices they have right now, they were pretty high when i was down last but i think that was b/c of the holiday.  If you want to check them out I believe they are on "spruce ave" which is a block east of anglesea.  If you're headin north it's just a bit past the star diner.

The crab was so big his claw cut my gas line in half and I had to swim back to the dock!

Thanks Feddog, I know exactly where you're talking about. I'm staying in North Wildwood, not too far from Westy's and Moore's Inlet  Cry RIP. Thanks a bunch!  Grin

I was in Wildwood last week and spoke with a few rec crabbers and they said they were doing well.....I don't know what road I was on (HELPS A LOT DOESN'T IT???)...but I saw a sign that said 3 dozen for $20 bucks..males.  I would go for the out of the way places if you have to buy crabs...worth the trip rather than in a seafood place!
