Just wanted to let you guys know that the St. Jones is the hot spot in central De.   I have 2 friends from work who have been slaying them there.  I have been crabbing in Maryland so I have not "confirmed" their story but I know that last year at this time you could bushel out in 2 hours.  FYI

Put in at Barkers landing off RT 113.  The ramp can be tricky depending on how hard the tide is running.  You will need to find some slack water as the tide runs VERY strong through there.

Morning all

I read your post about good crabbing near rt 13 bridge, where is that located, i live near fenwick island, ( assawoman ) state park. The crabbing has really be bad, also try tired the Indian river also, still striking out. It's just been too hot down here. Any help in sharing some general info about the area your talking about would be appreciated. I'm not too familiar with the rt 13 , thanks
