Hello MASSPI, I would appreciate a copy of the maps as well. I took my family to Ocean City, Maryland and they loved going out there and catching crabs and now they keep asking for more fun.

I would love one too.  The last time I was crabbing I was in 8th grade.  I hope it's just as fun now?!  dyu34@yahoo.com

I wonder if it is an omen...........a couple of days after I retired, I has a major computer hard drive failure and lost everything.  I had a external hard drive with a full disk image.............new drive and I am in business.................NOT.  The backup was contaminated with a virus and several nasty Trojans and I am dead in the water, starting fresh.

I lost the master copy of my maps and have nothing to send out till I re do them.  Could someone of the hundreds of people who have received the maps send a copy to

ian_y_liu@yahoo.com

and send one back to me, I would appreciate it

DP, Dave has been compiling crab maps of the Northeast for years.  He has sent them to anyone that wanted them.  He is looking for someone to send them back to him cause of a HD failure/etc.   Wink

I can understand that - just trying to help as I did not know for sure what he lost.

Finally got my workstation back and found a set of my crabbing maps on an old back up and have sent them out to all who requested them....................

I also am running the new Windows 7 operating system in 64 bit mode..........pretty impressive.  I changed all my computers to the 64 bit version of both W7 and Vista Ultimate.  Much faster as you would expect the in 64 bit versions.  I urge you when upgrading to consider the 64 bit version if your computer can support it.

And don't forget............your hard drive WILL !!!!!! fail.  If you value your data back it up.

Masspi, If you still can please send me those maps you are talking about because I have some friends who live in north east Ma. and they don't know where to go crabing up there. I'm from N.J. and they come down here to see me and eat crabs that I catch. Thanks

Hello Masspi
I have been interested in crabbing and Lobsta'ing for a while and just discovered this forum (such a great resource).  I would like to get a copy of those maps to help me get started.
Thanks.

I'm going to Mass for the first time this summer with the kids. Would love any insight on great Crabbing locations in which you don't need a boat as well as effective techniques. Traps, bait, etc. etc. I would love a copy of those maps as well. Scott.andarowski@yahoo.com is someone would please send them on.
