If anyone wants a copy of some maps I did up of area South Coast (Matapoisett, Marion, Wareham) crabbing locations, send me a B-mail with your regular e-mail address and I will send you a copy.  The file is in PDF format and to large to post on the forum.

send me the map.  my email is pmzjr69@verizon.net, Thanks. and Also is asking how much time do we have crabs in mass and RI?  i am considering to purchase license if there is time to crabbing with traps.

Hey masspi.

Im new to crabbing. My wife and I had the summer off last season and we had a lot of fun trying it out and looking around for new places. I was searching around the internet and found this site. Lots of nice information. If your still sending out maps of places to crab I would really appreciate one. Its a fun activity that both my wife and I have a lot of fun at, and that's a big bonus.  laugh

My email is jlivingston@umassd.edu

I have been sending out a lot of maps this year.  They only show three of the best areas.  Use your imagination and try all over.  The upper Agawam, off of Sandwhich Road in Wareham.  Look around a bit and you will find a place to park.  This is just one idea...........do your research and don't be afraid to try new areas.

An update on the dredging of Eel Pond in Mattapoisett......there is some delay in the hearings as people are starting to ask questions.  What will the area be like after the dredging Huh??  How will it effect Reservation Beach Huh?  If you plan to try this area, you better do it soon.  A couple of members have tried and there are some reports posted from last year.

Go get you share this year !!!!
