I'd seen this site http://www.bigedsbbq.com and actually passed by the Waretown location on Route 9 on the way to our favorite crabbin' spot today. (Which by the way we did not crab at all -- brrrrrr chilly! We fished). On the way back I said, "I'm gonna go in and get a menu", which I did. We weren't hungry but now I am reading their menu!

My question is has anyone gone to any of their locations? It looked nice and casual inside. Are their ribs good?

Awwwwww Harriet ----- ya found a gold mine for RIBS there. I have only eaten at the one on Route #34 north of Matawan, (I go twice or more a month there).

Old Bridge Location
174 Route 34 · Old Bridge, N.J. 07747
PHONE#: (732)-583-2626
Alt Phone (732)-583-4646
FAX#: (732)-583-1550

I understand that the three, (wow - just checked the web site and found out they now have eight around the state). All locations are are of the same quality and such.

I couldn't recomend a better place for the HUNGRY if yer interested in "ALL YOU CAN EAT" Pork Ribs. My personal preference is Pulled, (off the bone and ya can keep yer fingers clean while eating with a fork), Dry, (no 'cooked in' sauce - just slow smoked/cooked), with the two types of sauces they have on the side for dippin - depending on your taste.

By the by ----- the buttered small rolls are excellent also!!!!  ENJOY!

Thank you so much. When I came out of the place yesterday after snagging a menu, I saw two people getting into a vehicle with New York plates. I asked the man briefly before he got into the driver's side, "Are they good?" He looked at me like I was annoying him and I repeated "Is their food good?" He said, "Yeah" in kind of a grumpy tone and then jumped in like he couldn't wait to hightail it out of there. Jeez. Maybe he thought I was going to try to rob him or something (shrugging).  People can be so mistrustful for no reason. Maybe I should have just considered the source...(no offense to our neighbors to the north ie New York).

Thanks again!
