did you ever notice lately that all the people who piss and moan about spending all kinds of money on gas and food to go crabbing, not to mention getting up early are all lurkers on this site. stay home one weekend from crabbing and make a donation to the site. like any other site it takes money to run it.

why all the talk about lurkers? I post just as much as most people on here (except for tat of course
) just because i haven't been able to mail you some cash your trying to say i don't deserve to be here or my input doesn't matter? One of these days I'll get my act together and throw you a few bucks in the mail but until then, don't completely throw me out

Lurkers are very welcome.. Everyone here started by lurking.. Some lurk a few hours.. Some lurk forever.. If you get everything that you need from the free area's then why become a donateing memeber?
Want to donate to keep things running, click on the button and come inside... Thats all there is to it...

Many of us donate in non-monetary ways. We share our knowledge, tips, techniques, and of course our weekly reports. I think that's worth something isn't it?

Advertisers pay Steve HUGE MONEY...........[Sam Hill] I was sure I saw him at the Nantucket Boat Basin last year in the 360' custom yacht with the great looking blonde, big busted deck hands doing the wash down. He is rolling in the huge bucks he gets from IBM, Google, Microsoft and all the idiots who donate millions for the privilege of reading Bluecrab.Info.
Come on Steve.......fess up to your minions............show your wealth.........stop taking advantage of Crabber Nation

Yes, the GoogleAds do generate a small amount of revenue.

I feel less guilty then for not contributing
Seriously, I am not sure how the advertising pays, is it based on the number of hits to the advertising sight, actual purchases or just a flat fee, based on number of hits to this sight? Just curious.
