To everyone wanting to fish and especially CRAB, DO NOT GO TO CAPTAIN BILLS TACKLE ON SHARK RIVER.

HE IS FULL OF [shiz]!  I CALLED HIM TO SEE HOW CRABBING WAS DOING, AND HE ADVISED THAT PEOPLE WERE CATCHING BUSHELS OF CRABS.

TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT, 12 PEOPLE , 4 BOATS BOT ONE CRAB FOR 5 HOURS.

HE MADE ALOT OF MONEY FROM US AND LIE RIGHT TO OUR FACE.

SO STAY AWAY FROM CAPTAIN BILLS, I GUESS HE THERE FOR ONLY THE MONEY UNLIKE OTHER PLACE.

Crabbed barnegat bay on 8/30 from Eric's boat rentals.  Two adults one child.  We came up with 9 keepers and about 15 pregnant females that we through back in after 6 hours on the bay.  All in all it was a fun day even though I wanted to throw my son in the water after about 45 minutes of dealing with an 11 year old with endless questions.  Largest crab was about 6 inches but most about 5 inches.  I guess we need to wait another week or so to let them get bigger.  If anyone has some good spots in Forked River and Waretown please email me.  Thanks and best of crabbing to all.
