NO!!! Last I heard was about 3 weeks ago or so and it wasn't good. The large rusty males were still light for some reason that beats me. Angry Plus the guy said there was plenty of smalls.....which is good. But if they harden will they be full is the question. I will try to have a better report next weekend as this will be my first attempt in a long while...since late spring. Crabs then were the same, rusty, but light after cooking. Catching crabs here on the Pamlico River in good numbers, even though it's 70% females.

The water up here in Albermarle Sound is like Ocean Water, Brian.... I've been catching sea bass, File fish, and gag grouper.....in the pots.... It has pushed all the crabs up the Sound, even the sooks have pushed up there. I'm hoping for some rain to start bringing them back south this fall......
