Finally made it to the lake this weekend. First time taking my daughter. While the crabbing was a little slow, we had a great time.

The skeeters were out in force and ate well. We saw a few turtles but did not have a problem with them stealing bait. We probably caught 3 dozen or so very small crabs.  After about 4 hours we left with only 5. The smallest was just legal and the largest was 7 3/8". The big crab was completely empty which was odd to me because it was dark and felt heavy. The small crabs were packed with meat and made a nice bedtime snack.
