Cool  No brian, if your real quiet when leaving...just row it out so they can't hear the motor..(since it is their backyard...hehe)  then when your coming back, just jump out of the boat as fast as you can, grab all your stuff and tell them you were kidnapped while waiting for them to open... You are too funny !!!!!!!  What a crew here!!!  Is the Wye still a little sluggish??

Oh, and yes, it is 65.00 for a motor boat.  If anyone is or was in military, the base rents boat and motor(aluminum ones that go faster) for 20.00 a day, the only hitch is, you need a hitch.... Grin

How late can you rent a boat at Schnaitman's? NOT time-wise but calendar wise. Does crabbing is the Wye typically last through September? When does it usually die off for the year?

thanks.

Hey Guys,
I have a ?, I went to wye a couple weeks ago and I didn't catch a single crab, one guy asked me was it a full moon and I said yes and he said thats why I didn't catch anything. Have anybody heard of this before?

Big Crabs (Wye) are on a 40 to 50 day cycle, so the moon doesn't really play a factor, but some could have still been in a shed.. The smaller ones fall more in that cycle. It's been slow on the Wye the last few weeks and you probably didn't hit a good location. The Wye can be very tough when they are not running good as you can see by the reports. Cool

Hey Joe,
Thanks for the answer about the moon factor. Can you give me an idea about when is the best time to go crabbing? Cause I'm about to take my boy crabbing at Wyes again and I don't want to come up empty handed for the second time. Thanks.     Shawn.
