i was told it is a cross between pintail in a gadwall but also looks as if mallard is in it as well what do you guys think





i have more pics just got to resize them

My guess too, and I got his grandpa back in the 80s in Texas Grin Got him in a glass case. No pics though to post. Came in with some widgeon and a mallard drake. Wanted the drake, but he swung too wide, so I just sat tight. The widgeon circled twice and when the sun hit the cross, I knew there was something different.  Grin I was a happy camper. Seen a lot of crosses, and most involve the mallard.

he came in with a bunch of pintail and after i got my  pintail in the dog frought him up but i thought it was cool but his rear looks like a pintail
