Went to Clinton with my youngest son (15yrs). Caught 13 nice crabs after 5 hrs. Had the biggest soft shell male 7 3/4. Never caught a big softee like this before. Just egg washed him and breadcrummed and cooked it up. Shared with my son and older son. They loved it.Cleaned and cooked the others will eat tomorrow. My son missed about 10 to 12 more keeper size while we were rowing around the riverbank marsh. He need's to learn. No better way than to watch and give advise. Maybe he will do better next time. They are there. Not real big and not alot.I'm thinking maybe 2nd week of September will give this area another shot. Going to try Bear Mtn. on the Hudson next. Did good there this time last year. Will post again MAKO.

Thanksfor the report. I went out again in Norwalk.
Like you said: Not many and not too big!

I only saw three smalls last trip out on Monday.

I was wishing that you were getting some bigger ones by now.
I guess I'll just have to wait some more!
