I'm looking for crabbing spot in NJ, too.  Tongue I'd like to stay a few days at a shore point and drive to good spot with a boat rental and catch some stinkin' crabs.  Roll Eyes Either had no time this summer (just moved) or no luck (just hit Dividing Creek). Took no vacation this year...but would like to hit the beach for a few days right after labor Day, rent a boat and bring the crabs home...any ideas? Used to crab outside of Sea Isle as a kid...and at Beach Haven. I don't remember where, though. Any suggestions welcome (within reason!)

check out other links on the area.

many places from ocean city to wildwood to rent boats.  call around

prices are close to one another.

I don't think one is any better then the other.  I have had some luck

at Ludlam bay in sea isle (years past), ask at the boat rental, most

are helpfull.

There is a peir under the 34th st bridge (on to o.c. side)  also a peir

at about 14 and bay in o.c.

In sea isle, some people go to old sea isle blvd, west side of the

current bridge.

Good Luck

I'll be in O.C. tonight and tomorrow, I'll give a report when I get back.

Hi.  There is a place as you enter Sea Isle on the right hand side that is a dock, but I never had good luck there.  I even put out a crab pot overnight and only got 4 crabs.  (5").  There is a dock just made in Sea Isle, tried that but no luck either.  So, i'm looking for a GOOD place around Sea Isle, Ocean City, or Avalon.
