Pat...go over either Ben Franklin bridge,or Walt Whitman....follow rte 55 south(now the way i'm giving you is the EASIEST way..not the way I would go...crabbed that area last 15 years,I know all the "back" roads, and you would get lost)..anyway,rte 55 south until it narrows to one lane...go through the first traffic light...to 2nd traffic light..make right(WaWa on the corner)...go over the bridge to the 2nd blinking traffic light, make the right(half mile down will be State Police Barracks)...follow that road approx 5 miles..don't sweat, the road is a back country road with alot of winds and curves....eventually ,the road deadends at rte 553..to your left, over the bridge will be Dividing Creek Boat Rentals...if you go right at Rte 553,you will run into Beaver Dam,another place to rent a boat....both places open at 6am ....distance from you is approx 65-70 miles..figure on at least an 1 1/2 hr trip...Rick

Easiest way is off 55 "around" Elmer exit. Not sure of exit. It is 553. Just follow it south for 20 mi or so. Quicker thru Milville but....

The best exit is maybe 27 south , there is a mall on your left coming from Philly (Cumberland Mall) go toward Millville.  Turn right when you get off at the mall exit.  Go straight, you will pass a mini mall with a Walmart in it on your left.  Bear to your right at the next traffic light past Walmart and get into the left lane which is North High Street, Millville,  you will pass a KFchicken and a MCDonalds  on your left go  straight to the end and there will be a City Hall across from light, turn right. There will be one traffic light and then a blinking light (wawa on left and a custard stand on corner)  bear left there at custard stand.  Continue straight on that road for several miles and you will come to a 4 way stop, go straight for several miles and you will come to a big oak tree  you must bear left toward Newport (do not go straight).  Continue on that road until you come to a stop sign and turn left.  Continue on that road for a few miles and BEAVER DAM BOAT RENTALS will be on you right.  There are signs in front of it.  Hope to see you there!

HYDRO
I'LL KEEP YOU POSTED. GOING OUT TOMORROW. AS FAR AS CRABBING FROM LAND, IM NOT TOO SURE. I SEE SOME PEOPLE AT MAPLE POND IN THE FAR DISSTANCE CRABBING BUT I DONT KNOW WHAT ROAD IT IS. IVE ALWAYS RENTED A BOAT. DIVIDING CREEK IS A VERY WINDING CREEK WITH NOT MANY AREAS TO CRAB FROM LAND AS FAR AS IVE SEEN.  THERE IS A SMALL AREA AND A BRIDGE ON THE SIDE ROAD NEXT TO THE ":DOWN BY THE CREEK" BOAT RENTALS BUT IVE NEVER SEEN ANYONE DO MUCH THERE.  THE BRIDGE IS POSTED FOR NO FISHING BUT PEOPLE ALWAYS ARE CRABBING OFF OF IT.
