it was a bull minnow thing waas huge we cut it up into 3 peices

then we lightly dredged it in corn flour and fried it up.. MMMM ...........MMMMMM......MMMMMM...MMMMMMMM......................MMMMMMMMM....toasty...

as far as your crab net problem. zip-ties fix EVERYTHING

Maybe you know this maybe you do not. Zip ties,or Ty - wraps when cut with side cutters leave a very nasty and very sharp edge on the ty - wrap. If you grab the tail with a board flat nose pliers and twist it off instead of using side cutters, you will never cut yourself on that edge again.
