You can have em
:laugh:And the traps they were stuck in. Have you ever smelled a trap and the crabs that soaked that long without gagging.
And you need to bleach everything it touched.

don't know where you crab at,but we have no problem w/ a 4 nite soak.....the bouy lines had a little mud on them, but the traps and crabs where clean..

Cc,most of the time on a 4 day soak down here the bait is nothing but bones BUT you always dump the bait out first if there is some left before you try to shake the crabs out.

You do this for a living, everyday. You may have become immune to the smell.
Im not saying it happens everytime, ... and I never leave old bait in trap....but it does happen.
Sooks probably can handle the smell better than the jimmies
