Although I have been living in Mesa, AZ for 6 years, I had spent the majority of my life in Lexington NC. I haven't had any good seafood ever since-especially Blue crab. My family and I are planning a trip to Wrightsville beach in late July.  Looking forward to fishing and crabbing on Johnnie Mercer's pier.  I heard bloodworms were hard to come by on Johnnie Mercer's pier. Can anyone suggest places to purchase bloodworms near Johnnnie Mercer's pier?  Does anyone have any information regarding crab basket rentals on the pier?  How has the crabbing been lately?

Still like calling NC HOme,
