     Hey Trapman,      I put two traps in and checked them daily with only green crabs to be caught,guess I'll go black fishing till the water warms up!

HEY CRABBY ABOUT WHAT PART OF THE ISLAND ARE YOU CRABBING I KNOW A FELLER  WORKING FREEPORT AREA AND IS DOING GREAT YOU MUST BE OUT EAST A WAYS  IM IN THE SAYVELLE AREA MYSELF BUT I DIDNT TRY YET WHAT TYPE OF TRAP DO YOU USE AND WHERE DO YOU GET THEM  ?  THANKS TRAPMAN

THIS JUST IN MY BUDDY JUST CALLED AND SAYS HE GOT AN 8 IN POINT TO POINT MALE TODAY WHILE FLUKE FISHING IN THE BAY OFF BAYSHORE  TRAPMAN

   Trapman,
       I put my traps in around Island Park area ,not too far from Freeport area. I'm still not gettin nottin! Had a couple of tiny blue claws ,but the majority were green crabs. Huh Huh Tongue

Went crabbing this week twice at  Lindenhurst  town dock in the wind and rain. First day got 4 mediums, second day got 6. Threw  back a few small ones. I love using killie ring but got all in traps. A slow start. Will try again next week. Glad I found you guys. I'm new at computers.

Its been about 3 yrs since I've crabbed on LI, but I used to crab on the shore line just north of OBI (the beach club). Sorry, dont remember the city. If you get out there, let me know how you do. I would be willing to travel back to LI just to enjoy the fun of crabbing!
