In the dead of winter I've got 2 options for giant knotheads . Va Beach and a 45 foot bay built charter boat (Jill Carrie) , or a fast, clean 80 footer with full galley and sleeping berths for the 6 to 7 hour run offshore in South Jersey . I just drive to Lewes and hop on the ferry and then it's only 15 minutes to the boat . I always come home with lots of big bass , porgy, pollock and such . Last year I caught a 17lb buefish in 220 feet of water on a piece of clam . New Years Eve Day ! Go figure !
