  Just wanted to share an observation I had a week or so ago.  When I was at Sandy Point I was playing around in the sand and discovered tons of horseshoe crab eggs a foot or so beneath the surface near the shoreline.  Every foot or so in either direction was a new area where eggs had been deposited.  Just an observation. Cool

You sure they werent skate eggs.  Black, about 2-3 inches in length with long points on each corner?

Yes.  They were very small and round.  About 1/4 the size of a pea...if not smaller. Wink
