Post from yesterday -> http://www.bluecrab.info/forum/index.php/topic,26445.0.htmlI just remembered the crab traps were still in the water. Went out to get them out of the saltwater. This is what I found. These Legs have been in the water for 24 hours. Not even touched.

Jack, what do you think is going on? Reason for no crabs? As you know, crabs appear to be quite plentiful and rather large up in the Chester and nearby rivers. Maybe there is an unexpected migration pattern this year because the water has been colder than normal? (much colder than normal off NJ coast) Odd too that the chix was completely untouched. You'd think that the eels, catfish, killies, or spider crabs would'vve gotten to it in the absence of blue crabs.

This is the first year we have not filled our freeze with fish and crab by now.. I have not caught a single Rock so far this year. Today I got 4 keeper crabs.. We don't catch crab here in the breeding grounds... Well you know what is coming north..
