As long as you have paint, which almost all computers except macs come with it you can resize your picture easily. Hope this helps!
Go to start > programs > accessories > paint. When you have paint open click file > open, then find the image file you want to resize. Once you opened the picture it should appear on the screen in paint, right click on the picture once and click image/skew and a small pop-up screen will appear. Now on the pop-up window, stretch should be first and horizontal and vertical should say 100%, change them both to 50%, leave the skew alone. Now click OK, when the pop-up screen disappears click file > save or save as (save should save over the file name, save as will save it as a whole new picture) whichever you prefer. If this forum still says it is too large, which it shouldn't, just do it over again with the new picture until it is finally small enough to upload onto the forum.

Thanks, someone asked me to put it up here so I did. I figured I've gotten so much helpful information, why not try to help others in the area I'm an expert in!

Excellent Team Work Girl...................
Now just a word of caution, be so very careful when you use the term EXPERT. If you break the word down you find that EX is like ex-husband, ex-wife, and so on. This means a HAS BEEN.......................Spurt is a drip under pressure, like the water spurted out..............
So no one would ever want to be a Has Been Drip Under Pressure, unless of course you slept in a Holiday Inn last night.

hahaha! Thanks! I also don't think I will ever use that word again in my life now, and if anyone asks why I'll be sure to let them know your reasoning behind it.

I found the easiest way for uploading mobile images from smart phones to this site is that mostly everyone who have smart phones are also on facebook. i know i have to brag crabbing to my city ol' college friends. if you upload pics to facebook, facebook shrinks them enough where they easily upload to here.

This link will take you to an online picture resizing website, it's fairly simple to use and you do not need any special software - just select the size you want - it will do the job - and save file to your computer for posting.
Hope this helps

Wow, modern technology. I still remember my 126 Kodak Instamatic camera with flash cube. Yes you heard me right. Cube. Four flashes in one bulb.

I'm sure most people are using a PC not a MAC so just open the picture in PAINT that comes with Windows. Use the
resize/skew
feature from the
image
drop down menu and resize your picture to the acceptable size.

If you still can not resize your photos after trying as hard as you can - send them to me by email.
defuzzy1@hotmail.com
I will do them for you and send them back to you in posting size.
