i am answering this although not in the wye i was in a small tributary of eastern bay yesterday. i crabbed for 4 hours with 2000 feet of trotline and caught 18 crabs. they were ok size nothing to talk about though. it was weird too because i thought the water would be too cold but the crabs i caught came right up to the roller, it wasnt like the crabs werent dropping of the line. the line never went down except when there was a crab on it. so my conculsion is THEY JUST ARENT here yet. two more weeks. as a side note the biggest catch out of Eastern bay this year for a watermen has been a 1/2 buschel
