Anyone know if and where Blue Crab Pots are easy to buy in Brevard County? I'd even be willing to go to Orlando...

How many do you want, most of the commercial crabbers down there get theirs from pot makers up around Palaka,if it's just a few W.A. Davidson in Jax may ship them to you.

Nah,

I'm talking about one or two. I just want to have some for my sons to throw in the water from the Banana / Indian Rivers. I wanted to make one (for the challenge) but can't find any vinyl covered mesh wire for the life of me - and that makes me laugh, because Port Canaveral is a big port

If you're near Melbourne or Rockledge try Claytons Seafood Market on US1 just south of Rockledge or the bait shop on US1 in Melbourne north of Eau Gallie Blvd - they both usually carry the full-size pots for about $30.

Oops, forgot one other thing - search for "crab" in Craigslist (spacecoast).
