I am headed down to Rockport at the end of this month and I wanted to take a stab at crabbing the place im going has a private fishing pier and they said the crabbing was good. Is there somewhere in Rockport to buy chicken necks, also any reports on how the crabbing is right now in the corpus rockport area would be great!  Grin

Thank you.

Dont get many reports from Rockport, but I have a shirt someone got me that had the name of a local football team called the Rockport crabbers, so I guess they have a few to catch. Grin
Dont worry about finding chicken necks. Drumsticks catch more and are readily available.

I use to live in Houston and went down to Rockport a few times. I never tried to crab down there. I just fished but I going to say yes there should be some good crabbing down in Rockport.  Someone may be on here to tell you more than I can. Also, when your in town, just ask people and they should point you in the right direction. That what I did when I went fishing down there the first time.
