If you have a retail place that sells crabs or any kind of seafood, can you help me out a little.  I feel like I am in a circle:  I need money to start my business (large amounts for things like a truck, a location etc.) However can't get money till i show that the company can make the money back.

How did you begin?  Any help would be great.

I have owned a small business for years, (not seafood).  It is really tough.  Most small businesses close up within 3 years not because of money but because the person starting the business did not realalize how much work it is..  You never, never get to leave the job.  Even when you do get to take a vacation your mind will still be at work.

You have just learned lesson number 1.  It takes money to make money.  No bank is going to make you a loan based on a start up business idea.  You will need up front money and thats got to come from you.  Only way to get it is to hock something or borrow it from family or freinds.   Undecided
