hurley crab.  keep me posted.  had good luck with salmon last year as well.  Crabs are full...even the smaller ones.  Weekends get crazy down there.  CSC

just pulled 86 out of the hudson last week. 4 1/2- 7 1/2   from a dock!!!

Caught 6 at coldspring pier.  330-550pm.  bunker and chicken neck.  Shot 2 pheasants at cranberry mtn in the am.  bigger than they have been.  think we got 2 good weeks.  Anyone else wanna weigh in?

coldspring pier did not work out. so went to early season haunt in verplanck. 4 traps chicken wing parts  and yellow perch that i caught in pond on marthas vineyard,thats right yellow perch, no stripers, no blues. so i was thinking bait for crabs when i got back.spent 3 hrs, 9 keepers, 3 throw backs females all very small,well anyway decided to make crab cakes with the nine, average crab 5 to 6 in.not very good and let down on hopes of meat packed 7" in jimmies.but had a very good meal with wife, and happy we spent the day enjoying what we like to do together. I hope everyone has a safe and warm winter will be back at it in aug i hope

I dont think you need wd40 theres enough oil tar grease pcbs and coney island white eels in there and alot of the coneys are loaded with lube grew up in jersey city thats what we called the condoms we saw floating by all the time
